Canada’s first game is against Uruguay on Friday night. Canada then squares off against the United States on Tuesday, Oct. 15, and the Canadians close out the round-robin format against Argentina on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Canada enters the event ranked No. 14 in the world.
A media release on the Rugby Canada website says that Baillie “runs as a lock, #8 or flank and has obviously been rewarded for other good games.”
Baillie plays for the Newfoundland and Labrador’s Castaway Wanderers/The Rock in the Canadian Rugby League.
