Russia takes first lead of bronze-medal game

SUMMERSIDE -

SUMMERSIDE -- Russia has taken a 2-1 lead over Canada East in Sunday afternoon's bronze-medal game at the 2009 World Junior 'A' Hockey Challenge.

Pavel Kulikov scored from the slot along the ice to the left of Canada East goaltender Matt Ginn to give Russia its first lead of the game at 15:22 of the second period.
