Canada East completes round robin undefeated

SUMMERSIDE -

SUMMERSIDE -- Canada East will finish round-robin play at the 2009 World Junior 'A' Hockey Challenge in first place of Pool 'B'.

After defeating the United States 5-4 in a shootout on Sunday night, Canada East downed Belarus 7-5 on Monday night in its round-robin finale. Belarus (1-1), which outshot Canada East 27-18, will close out the round robin against the United States on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Canada East will next see action in Friday evening's semifinals.
