P.E.I. finishes fifth in mens beach volleyball

SUMMERSIDE -- Team P.E.I. edged New Brunswick 2-1 in the fifth-place match in men's volleyball at the 2009 Canada Summer Games on Friday morning.

Andrew Costa of Summerside and Brian Hansen of Alberton pulled out a 2-1 decision over New Brunswick's Ryley Boldon and Kyle Blanchard. Game scores were 21-13, 18-21, 15-11.

It was P.E.I.'s best-ever finish in men's volleyball .
