MONT CARMEL - By popular demand, the Mont Carmel Seniors will present their play, "Souvenirs" once again.
The presentation is Sunday, June 7, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Mont Carmel Parish Hall.
The hilarious portrayal of the residents at the fictional Foyer du Grand Ruisseau, along with invited guests, will entertain the audience with the comedic antics, skits and vocal renditions - which may or may not be scouted for the opening act for Reba and Tim.
Although the comedians are older, they are "not dead" as expressed by the lovely Angelina. Despite her age, she desperately searches for a lover. Will the old-fashioned home remedies cure Moise's leg and could the weather predictions possibly become reality.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and admission is free for preschoolers. During intermission, there will be canteen service and a bake sale. There will also be a 50-50 draw.
This presentation comes about as a result of project LEAP, with animation through the winter months by facilitator Marie Anne Arsenault.
