SUMMERSIDE -
SUMMERSIDE - Veteran drivers Mike Stevenson and Norris Rogers each enjoyed big nights at Red Shores at Summerside Raceway (SRW) on Wednesday.
Stevenson won four of the first eight dashes while Rogers finished with a driving triple, winning two of the final three races.
Rogers drove the Dale Sobey-trained Seanne Lad to the fastest mile - 1:58.4 - of the 12-dash program in a $1,500 pace in the evening's final race. Fractions were 28.2, 59.4 and 1:29.2.

Feature race
Louie Fernandez, a five-year-old bay gelding by ColeMuffler - Broadway Rosemarie - Broadway Express took the evening's feature event in Race 11. Time of the mile in the $1,900 pace was 1:59 after fractions of 27.2, 57 and 1:27.3.
Blissful Riddle placed and Canaco Paso finished in the show position.
Kenny Arsenault was in Louie Fernandez's bike for owners Robbie and Wendell Shaw of Summerside. Wendell Shaw is the trainer.
Early success
The New Brunswick-born Stevenson, who is now based on P.E.I., made his first trip of the night to the winner's circle with River J Lou in the second race after setting a maiden record - 2:03.3.
Stevenson made it back-to-back winners with Airborne Bomber (2:00.2), and then won Race 5 with Champ Of Mischief (2:02.1). Stevenson's final victory came with Woodmere Real (2:00.1) in Race 8.
Rogers, meanwhile, posted his three wins over the final six dashes. His first win came in Race 7 with Pictonian Pasadena (2:02), and he also won Race 10 with Allamerican Wow in 2:00.3.
Gary Chappell recorded a driving double. He drove Charlotte's Beau (2:03) and Jolly Fun (2:01.1) to the winner's circle.
Other winners on the card were:
In Cahoots (2:03.1 - a maiden record) and PW Fiesty (2:01.2).
The total live wager was $6,703.
