SAINT JOHN, N.B. – The Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League have recalled defenceman Bailey Webster of Kelvin Grove.

Webster, who is an assistant captain with the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild of the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League, will be available to the Sea Dogs for Saturday night’s game against the Charlottetown Islanders at Eastlink Centre.

This is the third time this season the Sea Dogs have recalled the 17-year-old Webster, who was a seventh-round draft choice in 2013.

In six games with the Sea Dogs this season, Webster has three assists. He had 25 points – five goals and 20 assists – in 31 regular-season games with the Wild.

The Wild won the provincial major midget hockey championship earlier this week, and will represent P.E.I. at the Atlantic major midget hockey championship tournament in New Glasgow, N.S., from April 3 to 6.
