In Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League playoffs

SLEMON PARK – The Souris Hawks completed a three-game sweep of the Summerside Source for Sports in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League playoffs on Saturday afternoon.

The Hawks, who won the first two games 4-2 and 9-6, pulled out a 7-4 road victory at The Plex in the series-clincher of the best-of-five quarter-final series.

Jordan Roche led the Hawks with three goals while Mitch Power (1-2), Darcy Nicholson (1-1), Colby Mooney (1-1) and Luke MacDonald also scored.

Gregory Arsenault (2), Tyler Dexter and Taylor Albert answered for the Capitals, who trailed 3-2 after the first period and 5-4 following 40 minutes.

Winning goaltender was Seth Nicholson, and Catlin Sonier took the loss.
