Cormier took the offensive award after setting up three of the Hawks’ six unanswered goals in the third period of a 9-6 win over the Summerside Source for Sports Capitals on Sunday night. The win gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five quarter-final series, with Game 3 in Slemon Park on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Cormier finished the game with five points while in two games last week, including the series opener, he had one goal and five assists.

Lannigan enjoyed a great week as the Falcons and Belfast Sabres split the opening two games of the quarter-finals.

Lannigan backstopped the Falcons to a 3-2 win in Game 1, and he was also very strong in a 2-1 overtime loss in Game 2.

Overall, Lannigan stopped 63 of 67 shots in the two games for a .940 save percentage.
