Midget Kings pull out one-goal win over Summerside

SUMMERSIDE – The Kings County Kings pulled out a 5-4 road win over the Summerside Hemphill GM Capitals on Wednesday night.

Eastlink Arena was the site of the P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League contest.

Kenny McKinnon and Ben Miller each scored twice for the Kings, who received a single tally from Kevin MacLeod.

Chasse Gallant, Logan VanderVelden, Owen Arsenault and Jesse MacFarlane replied for the Capitals.

The Kings held period leads of 2-1 and 4-3.

Winning goaltender was Nolan Compton. Koby Bridges tended goal for the Capitals.

Referee Jonny Martin called six of nine minor penalties against the Kings.
