In P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League game

SLEMON PARK – Two first-period goals proved to be enough for the Summerside Hemphill GM Capitals in a recent P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League game against the Sherwood Falcons recently.

P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League

The Capitals went on to post a 2-1 victory at The Plex in Slemon Park.

Brett Ramsay and Kolton Stright scored for the Capitals while single assists went to Joel Arsenault, Owen Arsenault, Brandon Arsenault and Brady Albert.

Jack Connell, assisted by Tanner MacLean and Brandon Smyth, netted Sherwood’s lone goal in the second period.

Blake Arsenault earned the goaltending win over Ethan Malcom. The final shots-on-goal totals were 34-26 in favour of Sherwood.

Referee Steve Dyer called five of eight minor penalties against the Capitals.
