Garnhum, who received the offensive honour, had an eight-point weekend to help the Sabres complete regular-season play with a pair of wins. Garnhum finished the season with 36 points in 20 games.

Garnhum is in his fourth and final year, and will be counted on to lead the Sabres offensively in the post-season.

Willis was recognized as the defensive player of the week.

Although his only game of the week was a 3-1 loss, Willis gave the short-staffed Flames a chance against the league-leading Southside Lynx on Saturday night. He made 55 saves when the Flames were within a goal of tying it for most of the game.
