Islanders pick up helpers in Halifax loss

QUEBEC CITY – Two Prince Edward Islanders recorded points for the Halifax Mooseheads in an 8-2 loss to the Quebec Remparts on Thursday night.

Darcy Ashley of Brooklyn and Brent Andrews of Hunter River each picked up assists in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game, played before 11,815 fans at the Pepsi Colisée – the former home of the Quebec Nordiques.

The Remparts went 6-for-16 on the power play while the Mooseheads failed to score in just three opportunities with the man advantage.
