CORNWALL – Five different players scored for the Souris Hawks in a 5-2 victory over the North River Flames in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League here at the APM Centre on Saturday night.

Darcy Nicholson (1-1), Mark McKenna, Gabriel Leger, Ryan Compton and Jordan Roche scored for the Hawks, who will take a 10-10-4 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses) record into Sunday night’s home game against the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces. Jeremy Peters, Mitch Power, Dylan Fay, Luke MacDonald, JD Farrell, Drew MacInnis, Matthew Birt and Derek Cormier collected assists.

Brady McQuaid netted both goals for North River (8-13-3).

Winning goaltender was Kelton Ellis.

Referee Jeff Affleck called six minors, one checking-from-behind game misconduct and one 10-minute misconduct against Souris. North River picked up two minors.
