CAMPBELLTON, N.B. – Blaize Bridges scored three goals and Alex Kelly made 30 saves in leading the Summerside Western Capitals to a 5-2 road win over the Campbellton Tigers on Friday night.

It was the third win in a row for the Capitals in the MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League).

Alex Bradley and affiliated player Kyle Doucette also scored for the Capitals, who improved to 14-18-2-2 (won-lost-overtime losses-shootout losses).

The win opened up a 12-point lead for the Capitals over the Tigers (9-26-1-1) for the final playoff berth in the Roger Meek Division while closing to within five points of the third-place Woodstock Slammers (17-16-2-1). Woodstock visits the Caps at Eastlink Arena on Sunday at 2 p.m.
