CORNWALL – Riley Shea was the overtime hero for the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces on Saturday night.

Shea scored with 58 seconds remaining in overtime to give Tignish a 6-5 road victory over the North River Flames at the APM Centre in Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League action. Tyson Carragher, who finished the game with two goals and three assists, drew the lone helper on the game-winning goal.
The goal capped a four-point night for Shea, who had two goals and two assists. Charlie Bernard (1-1) and Kirk Ramsay also scored for Tignish, which improved to 15-8-1 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses). Dylan Rayner added an assist.
Cody White (2-1), Bradley Vukicevic, Craig Campbell and Brad Power countered for the Flames (8-12-3). Single helpers were credited to Curtis Gant, Logan LeClair, Brady McQuaid and Spencer Hay.
The Flames led 4-3 after the first period, and the Aces took a 5-4 lead into the dressing room after 40 minutes.
Chase Dyment picked up the goaltending win, and Taylor Doyle was the goaltender of record for North River, which outshot Tignish 39-34.
The Flames were whistled for three of the game’s four minor penalties by referee Wayne Doyle.
