Summerside pulls out one-goal win in Souris

SOURIS – Tyler Peters scored two goals, including the winner in the third period lifted the Summerside Source for Sports Capitals to a 4-3 victory over the Souris Hawks on Sunday night.

The Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League game was played at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex.

Travis Thibideau (1-1) and Cody Arsenault also scored for the Capitals, who received assists from Branson Groom (2) and Tayler Albert.

Drew McInnis, Jordan Roche and Dylan Fay countered for the Hawks.

Summerside held period leads of 3-0 and 3-1.

Winning goaltender was Catlin Sonier. Kelton Ellis tended goal for Souris.

Referee Wayne Doyle called eight minors, three fighting majors, two 10-minute misconducts and four game misconducts against each team.
