LeClair’s three assists lead Aces

TIGNISH – Jacob LeClair earned three assists to lead the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to a 4-3 victory over the North River Flames on Friday night.

The Tignish Credit Union Arena was the site of the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League game.

Troy Gallant (2), Charlie Bernard and Dylan Ellis scored for the Aces, who improved to 13-6-1 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses). Riley Shea (2), Kirk Ramsay, Karter Hackett and Tyler Howard, who was named the Regal Cresting player of the game, chipped in with other assists.

For the Flames, Cameron MacMurdo (2-1) and Jeremy MacAulay found the back of the net.

The Aces held period leads of 2-1 and 3-1.

Winning goaltender was Chase Dyment.

Referee Justin DesRoches were called for three minors, one fighting major and one game misconduct against the Aces. The Flames picked up four minors, one fighting major and one game misconduct.

The Flames host the Sherwood Falcons at the APM Centre in Corwwall on Saturday at 7:50 p.m.
