Ashley’s four points help Mooseheads top Sea Dogs

SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Darcy Ashley of Brooklyn, P.E.I., recorded four points to lead the Halifax Mooseheads to a 5-3 come-from-behind win over the Saint John Sea Dogs here on Saturday night.

Ashley tied the game 3-3 as the Mooseheads overcame a 3-1 deficit, and sealed the win with an empty-net goal with 47 seconds remaining in the third period. He also added two assists in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game.

Saint John defenceman Bailey Webster of the Blue Shank Road, near Kensington, picked up an assist in his second game with the Sea Dogs. Webster, who plays with the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild of the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League, has three assists in two games since being recalled by the Sea Dogs on Dec. 27.
