Wild back at Gardens to host Flyers

KENSINGTON – The Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild will return to home ice here at Community Gardens on Saturday night.

The Wild will entertain the Moncton Flyers in a New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League contest that is scheduled to start at 7:30.

The Wild, currently 9-12-2 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses), is coming off a 4-1 loss against the Fredericton Canadiens in Tignish on Thursday night. Kensington’s game in Saint John on Friday was called off due to the weather.

The Flyers (17-6-0) are in second place, one point behind Saint John (17-5-1).

In other league news, the Charlottetown Islanders’ game in Miramichi, N.B., on Friday night was also postponed due to the weather.
