SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside Hemphill GM Capitals and Kings County Kings exchanged home-ice wins in the P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League over the weekend.

After the Kings opened the home-and-home series with a 5-2 victory on Friday night, the Capitals rebounded on home ice Sunday afternoon for a 5-4 victory.
The two results leave the Capitals at 5-8-3 (won-lost-tied), and the Kings are 6-9-3.
At Eastlink Arena on Sunday, Chasse Gallant (1-2), Brandon Arsenault (1-1), Jesse MacFarlane (1-1), Dan Fingler and Joel Arsenault scored for the Capitals. Brady Albert, Brett Ramsay, Logan Vandervelden, Spencer Groom and Cody Deighan collected single assists.
For the Kings, Tyler Rose, Kevin MacLeod, Mike MacGregor and Tyler McGillvray found the back of the net.
The teams were tied 2-2 after the first period, and the Caps led 4-3 after the second.
Winning goaltender was Koby Bridges. Nolan Compton was between the pipes for the Kings.
Referee Jackson Doughart called a total of four minor penalties in the game – three of those against Summerside.
