The Red Wings can take over sole possession of third place with a regulation-time win over the Sherwood A&S Scrap Metal Falcons at the Evangeline Recreation Centre. Game time is 7 p.m.

The fourth-place Red Wings go into the contest one point behind the Falcons. The Red Wings’ record is 8-10-1 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses), and the Falcons are 7-8-4.

A solid 4-1 road victory over the league-leading Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers on Boxing Day gave the Red Wings four wins in their last six games.

The Red Wings are pleased to have steady defenceman Taylor Smith back in the lineup after he was away for work commitments.
