Gaudet, who score three third-period goals, was instrumental in the Aces’ 7-6 come-from-behind win over the Belfast Sabres last Friday, and he added two more goals in a 3-2 road win over the North River Flames on Saturday night.

Gaudet scored the winning goal in both victories, including a late one against North River.

Defensive award

Flames goaltender Taylor Doyle is the defensive player of the week.

Doyle stopped 41 shots in earning his league-leading second shutout of the season on Monday night against Sherwood.

Doyle leads the league with a sparkling .931 in save percentage.

In his fourth and final season, Doyle is on pace for his best season statistically as he currently boasts career bests in goals-against average, save percentage and shutouts.
