SUMMERSIDE – The weather continues to play havoc with the Summerside Western Capitals’ schedule in the MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League).

Summerside Western Capitals

The Capitals’ home game against the Amherst Ramblers tonight (Wednesday) has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be rescheduled for a later date.

The Capitals have now had five games postponed, including four at home, since Nov. 20 due to either poor weather conditions or traffic restrictions on the Confederation Bridge.

The Caps’ next home game is Friday against the Yarmouth Mariners. Game time is 8:15 p.m. This game was originally scheduled for Sunday, but was moved to Friday because of another forecasted storm for Sunday.

The Caps and Mariners will also play at Eastlink Arena on Saturday at 7 p.m.
