SYDNEY, N.S. – The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles spread out the offence in handing the Charlottetown Islanders a 5-3 loss in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League here at Centre 200 on Sunday afternoon.

Five different players – Charles-Eric Legace (1-1), Cameron Darcy (1-1), Jeremy Beaudry (1-1), Kyle Farrell and Clark Bishop – scored for the Screaming Eagles.
Daniel Sprong, Yan Pavel Laplante and Matej Beran lit the lamp for the Islanders.
Charlottetown led 1-0 after the first period, and the Screaming Eagles took a 3-2 lead into the second intermission.
Chase Marchand recorded the goaltending win over Eric Brassard.
The Screaming Eagles improved to 19-12-0-3 (won-lost-overtime losses-shootout losses). The Islanders, who snapped a nine-game losing streak on Friday night, are now 14-17-1-4.
