KENSINGTON – The Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild will head to Nova Scotia for a pair of weekend games.

Kensington Wild

The Wild will travel to Berwick to face the Valley Wildcats on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and will take on South Shore in Lunenburg on Sunday at noon.

All teams in the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League are visiting teams in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League as part of an inter-locking schedule between the two leagues. The Nova Scotia teams visited the New Brunswick/P.E.I. teams in early November.

The Wild, who is coming off a 4-2 road win over the first-place Saint John Vitos last weekend, is tied for fourth place with the Charlottetown Islanders in the six-team league. The Wild, who has played two fewer games than the Islanders, are 5-10-0 (won-lost-overtime/shootout) while their provincial counterparts are 4-11-2.

The Wild will host the Islanders at Community Gardens on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m.

This weekend, the Islanders visit South Shore on Saturday at 8 p.m., and Valley on Sunday at 1 p.m.
