BATHURST, N.B. – The Acadie-Bathurst Titan scored three unanswered third-period goals in extending the Charlottetown Islanders’ losing streak in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League on Wednesday night.

The Titan’s 3-2 come-from-behind victory marked the fifth straight loss for the Islanders.
The Islanders held period leads of 1-0 and 2-0, but Adam Stevens’ short-handed goal at 10:31 of the final 20 minutes evened the score 2-2, and a power-play goal off the stick of Nicholas Blanchard at 16:42 sent the Titan to victory before 873 fans at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre.
Christophe Boivin started the comeback for the Titan at 4:27.
Kameron Kielly and Alexandre Goulet scored for the Islanders, who fell to 13-14-1-3 (won-lost-overtime losses-shootout losses).
Overall, the shots-on-goal totals were 34-32 in favour of the Titan (13-15-1-1). Jacob Brennan earned the goaltending victory over Eric Brassard.
The Islanders host back-to-back games at Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown this weekend. The Quebec Remparts visit on Saturday at 7 p.m., and the Halifax Mooseheads will provide the opposition on Sunday at 4 p.m.
