Sweep games from Nova Scotia teams
KENSINGTON – The Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild capped a four-point weekend on home ice here at Community Gardens on Sunday afternoon.

The Wild edged the Valley Wildcats 4-3 in an interlocking game between the New Brunswick/P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League and the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League.
The Wild also won by an identical 4-3 score over the Cape Breton West Islanders on Saturday night. The results, which count in each league’s standings, improved the Wild’s record to 4-8-0 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses).
The Wild, who held period leads of 2-1 and 4-2 against the Wildcats, received goals from four different players – Kyle Pinksen, Austin Taylor, Michael Evoy and Max Morrison. Bailey Webster added three assists while single helpers were credited to Sam Jay, Spencer Sherren and Abel Arsenault.
For the Wildcats, Brett Tidman, Eli Hughes and Tanner Forrest beat Wild goaltender Cameron Visser, who finished with 28 saves.
The Wild outshot the Wildcats 34-31.
Referee TJ Courtney called a total of 13 minor penalties – eight of those against the Wild.
