SUMMERSIDE – Alex Bradley had two goals and two assists to lead the Summerside Western Capitals to a much-needed win on Sunday afternoon.

Alex Bradley, 81, recorded four points for the Summerside Western Capitals in Sunday afternoon’s 4-3 win over the Woodstock Slammers in the MHL (Maritime Junior Hockey League) at Eastlink Arena.
The Capitals, coming off a 3-2 overtime loss against the Pictou County Weeks Crushers on Thursday night and giving up a goal with six seconds remaining in the third period of a 3-2 loss to the Dieppe Commandos on Saturday, scored two goals in the final 3:15 of the third period to overcome a 3-2 deficit and defeat the Woodstock Slammers 4-3.
Bradley tied the game at 16:45, and Blaize Bridges scored the winner at 18:36 as the Caps upped their record to 4-10-1-0 (won-lost-overtime losses-shootout losses).
Brad Power also scored for the Capitals while Brandon Cottrell (1-1), Jake Wright and Angus Johnston countered for the Slammers (6-8-1-1).
Simon-Pier Chamberland earned the goaltending decision over Will King. The Caps outshot the Slammers 32-31.
