Summerside golfer records one three aces at Eagles Glenn

CAVENDISH – Keith Tompkins of Summerside was one of three golfers to record holes-in-one here at the Eagles Glenn Golf Course recently.

Tompkins holed out on the 110-yard No. 11 hole. He used a pitching wedge the ace was witnessed by his playing partners, Eldon Gautreau and Dave Hogg of Summerside and Megan Court of New Glasgow.

Murray Campbell of Charlottetown used a No. 7 iron to ace the 145-yard sixth hole. His playing partners were Edgar and Penny Coffin and Edith Giggey, all of Charlottetown.

Don Ellsworth of Moncton, N.B., is a summer resident of Stanley Bridge, aced the 145-yard sixth hole with a No. 9 iron.

Sarah Ellsworth, Steven Suba and Mark Crosby were his playing partners.
