SUMMERSIDE – Dylan Noonan pitched a complete game and keyed the offensive attack for the Summerside Chevys on Monday night.

Noonan allowed just one hit and struck out eight in earning the win in the Chevys’s 11-1 win over the Kensington Crusaders in P.E.I. Peewee AAA Baseball League action at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Gordie Arsenault Field. A.J. Cahill was the pitcher of record for Kensington.

Noonan (3-3, double, three runs batted in), Bennett MacArthur (2-3, towering home run, two RBI) and Ben MacDougall (2-3, grand slam, four RBI) keyed Summerside’s offensive attack.

For the Crusaders, Landon Clow came within inches of clearing the right-field fence and had to settle for a triple and later scored.

It’s a busy week for the Chevys, who travel to Cornwall on Wednesday, visit Richmond on Thursday and host West Prince on Monday at 8:15 p.m.
