SUMMERSIDE - City police are advising everyone to use care this Halloween weekend to mare sure is safe and pleasant for all.
Deputy Chief David Griffin issued a news release asking children to wear clothing that can be easily seen at night. He noted reflective materials are best.
The deputy chief said children should wear masks that do not interfere with vision and suggested masks can be avoided altogether by wearing make-up.
Parents are also being advised to dress children appropriately for the weather and carry a flashlight.
Griffin reminded parents to always inspect the treats their children receive.
Trick-or-treaters must complete their rounds by the 8 p.m. curfew.
