Gushue rink headed to Russia

ST. JOHN’S – The Brad Gushue rink announced on Thursday that they will be taking part in the Red Square Classic in Moscow, Russia, from Jan. 20 to 22.

Adam Casey of Seven Mile Bay plays second stone for the Brad Gushue rink, which is headed to Russia for the Red Square Classic curling event later this month.

The event, which will be held outdoors in Red Square, takes place in advance of the Newfoundland and Labrador provincial men’s championship from Jan 27 to Feb 2.

Team Gushue includes skip Brad Gushue, third stone Brett Gallant of Charlottetown, second stone Adam Casey of Seven Mile bay and lead Geoff Walker.

This is a new stop on the World Curling Tour.
