McCormack’s hot bat leads Red Sox past Crusaders

RICHMOND – Dylan McCormack’s 3-for-3 batting performance led the Richmond Red Sox to a 12-8 victory over the Kensington Crusaders on Sunday evening.

The Red Sox hosted the P.E.I. Peewee AAA Baseball League contest at the Ralph MacLellan diamond.

Parker Gallant (2-3, double, triple) also had a big night at the plate for the Red Sox.

Brandon Gillis (2-3) and David Gallant (1-2) were Kensington’s leading hitters.

Nathan Grigg picked up the pitching win, with Bryce Wood collecting the save. A.J. Cahill and Jack Arsenault threw from the hill for the Crusaders.
