ROSEBANK – Sherwood-Parkdale Rangers keeper Devon Griffin played a big role in his team earning a 1-1 tie against the West Prince Storm recently.

Westisle Composite High School was the site of the Subway P.E.I. Under-17 Boys Soccer League game.

With the teams tied 1-1, the Storm had numerous scoring chances and controlled possession in the second half, but Griffin was stellar to preserve the tie.

A long shot outside the box by Brolin Turner gave the Storm a 1-0 lead at the 35-minute mark, but the Rangers answered back on a goal by Quendrim Ajeti just before halftime.

Cole Hackett was West Prince’s keeper.
