Dunn’s hot bat leads Summerside past Cardigan

SUMMERSIDE – Matthew Dunn had a perfect night at the plate in leading the Summerside Chevys to a 9-5 win over Cardigan recently.

Dunn posted a 3-for-3 summary and drove in three runs in the P.E.I. Mosquito AAA Baseball League game, played at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Gordie Arsenault Field.

Sean Matheson (2-2, two RBI) also had a big game offensively for the Chevys.

Connor McInnis (3-3) and Drew Chapman (2-3) swung hot bats for Cardigan.

Winning pitcher was Ty Arsenault, and Stewart Dory took the loss.
