New track record set in Kensington

KENSINGTON – Canvasback Bud set a new track pacing record of 2:00.4 during a recent matinee harness racing program at the Kensington racetrack.

Owner Alan Craig drove Canvasback Bud to the record-setting trip.

There were two memorial races held during the annual Harvest Festival card. Elm Grove Holister won the Keith Silliker Memorial Pace, with Aleiasha MacMillan doing the driving for owner Cory Sudsbury.

Millar Millar was the winner of the Lloyd Doucette Memorial Pace. Robert and Jenny Parsons own Millar Millar, driven by John Perry.

Other winners on the seven-dash card were:

Jacob Too Too, driven by William MacKay Sr. and owned by William MacKay Jr.; Maple Grove Seph, owned and driven by Cy Poirier; Reincarnate, owned and driven by Jack McGuirk, and Dream Spinner, driven by John Perry for owners Robert and Jenny Parsons.
