After Wednesday’s play rained out
MONTREAL – The Charlottetown Mariners will be busy on Thursday.
P.E.I.’s representative at the Softball Canada national junior women’s championship for players under the age of 21 have four games scheduled due to Wednesday’s opening day being rained out.
The Mariners open against the Wildcat Warriors from Alberta at 11 a.m., Atlantic time, and then take on the host Quebec Rebelles Dagenais at 2 p.m. Charlottetown concludes the busy day with back-to-back games against Quebec Etoiles at 6 p.m., and Ontario’s Mississauga Hurricanes at 8 p.m.
The Mariners will have little time to rest as they are slated to play the first game of Friday’s schedule at 10 a.m. Charlottetown will be opposed by the Quebec Rebelles Langlois. The Mariners’ second game of Friday is against the Peterborough Thunder at 4:30 p.m.
The playoffs and crossover games begin Saturday, with play concluding on Sunday.
