CHARLOTTETOWN – Astor, owned by Foxyhall Racing Stable, kicked into gear down the backstretch to take over command of the race, and stormed home in 1:55.4 to win the Sunday afternoon feature at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Jason Hughes was in the bike for the victory. Artist List closed hard to finish second, with Ultimate Luck third. The 7-5-3 triactor $618.25.
The back-up class went to Tempo Seelster and Vince Poulton in 1:57.3. The son of Santanna Blue Chip notched his third win of the campaign.
Osprey Impact, owned and driven Paul Larrabee, won the trot class in 2:02.1. Tymal Tyme finished second with Howmacs Pride third. The 1-5-4 triactor paid $199.10.
Brodie MacPhee and Ron Matheson had driving doubles on the afternoon.
The total wager was $23,093.
