MONCTON, N.B. – Abbey Corish and Timmy Yorke of the Summerside Dolphin Swim Club both qualified for the East Coast championships in the 200-metre individual medley (IM) here recently.

Corish and Yorke were two of 14 Dolphins participating in the CNBO Moncton development meet.
Corish also posted the best time in the 200-metre freestyle, and Mikaela Tynski had best times in the 200-metre freestyle and 200-metre IM, placing third.
Overall, Dolphins head coach Dave Campbell was pleased with the club’s performance.
“It was a great effort, lots of great swims by some of the newer swimmers,” said Campbell. “I’m really proud of the effort given by Abbey Corish, Timmy Yorke and Mikaela Tynski as they strive to make the East Coast standard.”

Evan Corish (10) – first in 50 free, second in 50 fly, first in 200 free.
Drew Shields (10) – 13th in 50 free, fifth in 100 free, fourth in 50 back.
Timmy Yorke (13) – second in 50 free.
Tyra MacKinnon (10) – first in 50 free, first in 200 free.
Isabelle Steele (11) – first in 200 breaststroke, 19th in 50 free, 11th in 100 free.
Chloe Drummond (11) – fifth in 50 fly, 18th in 50 free, third in 50 back.
Grace Boulet (13) – second in 50 fly, seventh in 200 free, fourth in 50 free.
Courtney McBride (10) – 12th in 50 free, fifth in 100 free.
Lauren Folland (age unavailable) – 18th in 50 free, 12th in 100 free, fourth in 50 back.
Madison Brown (8) – 34th in 50 free, 21st in 50 back.
Mya Welton (11) – fifth in 100 free, eighth in 50 back, 12th in 50 free.
Lauren Martin (12) – 25th in 50 free, sixth in 50 back.
