Close to 150 attend first 55+ Regional Games

ALBERTON -- Organizers have deemed the first ever Regional 55+ Games a success. Held recently in Alberton and hosted by the Alberton and Area Business Association, the Games attracted close to 150 participants for 10 events.

Results - First, second and third (gold, silver and bronze)

Bowling

Ladies singles – 1. Gerry Gallant, 2. Carmen Allain, 3. Jean Buote.

The business association provided gift packs for participants. The completion concluded with a reception at the Western Community Curling Club, organized by Wendy Fraser.
