CHARLOTTETOWN – It’s three games in four days for the Island Storm starting tonight (Thursday), when they travel to Saint John to take on the Mill Rats at 7 o’clock.

The Storm hosts a return visit by the Mill Rats on Friday at 7 p.m., and the Moncton Miracles visit Eastlink Centre on Sunday at 2 p.m.

This set of three games is very important for the Storm in terms of the standings in the Atlantic Division. Right now, the Storm is three games back of first-place Saint John, and back-to-back wins over the Mill Rats will close the gap to one game.

Following a tough stretch and the addition of new players to the lineup, the Storm has been able to get some good practice time in this week, allowing the new players to get up to speed with the team’s system.

Newcomers Ed Jones and Nick Okorie have practised well this week, and are ready for these upcoming three games and should be able to contribute significant minutes to the team. Phil Jones will also be called on to spell Steve Tchiengang in the middle.
