CHARLOTTETOWN - The Holland College Hurricanes will host the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) men’s volleyball championship in 2015.
Eight of the nation's top teams will compete in the three-day tournament from March 12 to 14. As hosts, the Hurricanes are automatically entitled to a berth.
“They say timing is everything, and Holland College is perfectly poised to host men’s volleyball,” said tournament chairman Albert Roche, who is the college’s athletic director. “We are eager to impress the CCAA with our hospitality.”
The Hurricanes are currently ranked second in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) and the institution has hosted seven regional and national championship tournaments in the past three years alone.
This year’s tournament will be hosted in Moose Jaw, Sask., from March 5 to 8.
