Moncton sweeps weekend games from Storm

MONCTON, N.B. – The Moncton Miracles completed a two-game weekend sweep of the Island Storm on Saturday night.

The Miracles defeated the Storm 96-83 in the second of back-to-back games at the Moncton Coliseum in the National Basketball League of Canada.

Saturday, Stanley Robinson had a game-high 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Miracles, who defeated the Storm 104-97 on Friday night and improved to 4-15 (won-lost). Three of those wins have come against the Storm.

Antonio Ballard’s 18-point effort and 11 rebounds led the way the for the Storm, who dropped to 10-8 to remain tied with the Saint John Mill Rats atop the Atlantic Division standings. Al Stewart added 14 points and Ashton Graham sank 12.
