Storm can move into first place in Atlantic Division tonight

CHARLOTTETOWN – The Island Storm can take over first place in the Atlantic Division of the National Basketball League of Canada tonight (Friday).

The Storm travels to Saint John, N.B., to take on the hometown Mill Rats at Harbour Station. Game time is 7 p.m.

The Storm goes into the game with a record of 8-6 (won-lost) while the Mill Rats sit at 9-6. The Charlottetown-based Storm is 3-1 against the Mill Rats.

Antonio Ballard, who is averaging over 21 points and nine rebounds a game this season, has been one of the Storm’s top performers all season.

The Storm’s next home game is against the Halifax Rainmen on Boxing Day. The matinee at Eastlink Centre will begin at 2 p.m.
