Bridges has four points in Canada's win Monday at sledge hockey event

Summerside’s Billy Bridges has been a big part of Canada’s 2-0 start at the World Sledge Hockey Challenge.

Bridges has five points in two games for Canada at the four-team tournament.

Bridges had two goals and two assists in a 5-3 victory Monday against Russia and had an assist in a 5-2 win Sunday against Korea.

Canada held period leads of 3-1 and 4-2 against Russia.

Bridges is tied with teammate Greg Westlake for the tournament lead in points.

Canada concludes the round robin Wednesday against the United States at 9 p.m. Atlantic.
