Play starts Friday evening
KENSINGTON – The 39th annual Kensington Intermediate-Senior High School (KISH) Volleyball Extravaganza will now feature 15 teams after the withdrawal of Yarmouth, N.S.

The senior AAA girls-calibre tournament schedule has been revised, and the teams have been divided into three five-team pools. Round-robin play will now begin at the KISH gymnasium on Friday at 5 p.m. Play resumes Saturday at 9 a.m., with the gold- and bronze-medal matches now set for 5 p.m.
The top eight teams after round-robin play will advance to the playoff round.
The host Kensington Torchettes, Charlottetown Rural, Cobequid Education Centre (CEC) No. Two, Sackville High and Middleton make up Pool A.
Colonel Gray, Westisle, CEC No. One, Parkview and J.L. Illsley comprise Pool B.
Pool C features Three Oaks, Bluefield, Bridgewater, Halifax West and Northumberland.
All round-robin matches featuring Pools A and B teams will be played at KISH while Pool C competition will be played at the Three Oaks Senior High School gymnasium. All playoff matches will be held at KISH.
