Saskatchewan’s Cathy Inglis stole three points in the 10th end to cap an 8-5 come-from-behind win at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club.
Fowler, who fell to 4-1 (won-lost), stole a point in the eighth end to go up 5-3, but Inglis counted a deuce in the ninth end to even the score. The Saskatchewan representative from the Yorkton Curling Club is 2-3.
Nova Scotia’s Colleen Pinkney foursome from the Truro Curling Club remains the only undefeated women’s rink at 5-0. Pinkney’s lone game today is against Ontario’s Judy Oryniak (1-4) at 2:30 p.m.
In other morning games, Northern Ontario’s Vicky Barrett defeated P.E.I.’s Nola Murphy 12-5 while the Northwest Territories’ Ann McKellar-Gillis downed British Columbia’s Karen Lepine 10-4.
P.E.I., which fell to 0-5, will play Saskatchewan in today’s 7 p.m. draw.
