MacDonald dropped a 7-4 decision to New Brunswick’s Wayne Tallon rink from the Capital Winter Club. Tallon improved to 2-0 (won-lost) while MacDonald, who plays British Columbia’s Craig Lepine at 2:30 on Sunday afternoon.
MacDonald opened play with a 9-7 win over Alberta on Saturday afternoon.
In other morning games, it was Manitoba over the Northwest Territories 12-3; Nova Scotia doubled British Columbia 8-4; Saskatchewan beat Newfoundland and Labrador 7-3; Alberta edged Quebec 7-6, and Ontario outlasted Northern Ontario 8-5.
