Davies, Jay win The Dominion semi-finals

ALBERTON -- Cornwall’s Lorianne Davies won in an extra end Sunday afternoon to advance to the 5:30 p.m. women’s final of the P.E.I Provincial The Dominion Club Curling Championship against the hometown favourite, the Sharon Horne rink from the host Western Community Curling Club. Davies defeated the Silver Fox’s Karen MacDonald rink 7-4 in the Sunday afternoon semi-final.

The Blair Jay rink from the Silver Fox won the men’s semi-final 8-2 over the Paul Morrison Montague rink and will play the defending champion Alan Inman Crapaud rink in the men’s final. Inman went through round robin play with a perfect 5-0 record while Jay and Morrison finished round robin with 3-2 summaries.
